Where It All Began
Long before K.Coaching existed, the entrepreneurial spirit was already there.
Growing up in a small coal mining town in Pennsylvania, business, hard work, and relationships were simply part of life. My parents owned a local tavern that became one of the area’s most popular wedding venues—a place built on connection, community, and taking care of people. Those early experiences shaped the foundation for what would later become a career centered around leadership, growth, and helping others succeed.
A love for speaking and connecting with people showed up early too. In college, I hosted my own television talk show and imagined a future in media and broadcasting. But when that path didn’t unfold as planned, an opportunity in customer service opened the door to an entirely different journey.
That shift quickly evolved into sales and leadership roles, often entering new markets and building from the ground up. Over the course of 10 years, we moved 15 times while advancing my career, raising a family, and learning how to adapt, lead, and grow through change. Eventually, that led to executive leadership positions, including VP of Sales roles with Fortune 500 companies.
From the outside, it looked like success. But deep down, I knew something was missing. I was working long hours, traveling constantly, and trying to balance it all while raising my girls. I remember driving into work one day with a pit in my stomach, knowing something needed to change.
Building Something of My Own
That day my boss picked the wrong day to tell me to “shut up and sit down”. I walked away from corporate America—and never went back. For the first time, I was free to be me… but I didn’t yet know who that was.
That moment led me into a deeper process of reflection—understanding my strengths, my passions, and how to build a business around them while creating the life I truly wanted. That’s where K.Coaching, Inc. was born.
What began as a leap of faith eventually became the leading coaching and training organization in the business products industry. Focused on sales and leadership development, we spent more than two decades helping organizations strengthen leadership and improve performance.
We partnered with start-ups, entrepreneurs, and Fortune 500 companies around the world through coaching, consulting, workshops, conferences, and webinars. Our online learning platform, The Sales Vault, served more than 3,000 members and became an early leader in virtual sales training and development.
Along the way, I co-founded the non-profit OPWIL (Office Products Women in Leadership), dedicated to mentoring, educating and retaining women in a highly male dominated industry.
Like many entrepreneurial journeys, I found myself asking again—what’s next?
That question led me back to something I had always wanted to do – The Krista Moore Show, a live weekly talk show where I interviewed hundreds of business owners and thought leaders. It became a space for learning, connection, and inspiration and a reminder that we can always create what we feel called to create.
In 2019, I published Race to Amazing: Your Fast Track to Sales Leadership, a collection of my experiences and proven success models. It became a roadmap for many, and I was honored to be featured on the cover of Sales Management Magazine, with HubSpot naming it a “Top 10 Must-Read for Sales Managers.”
Writing that book led to the development of my Your 10-Year-Old Self-concept and BE 10 Again retreats—creating space for people to reconnect with who they were before the world told them who to be. That work felt different. More meaningful, and aligned to who I was meant to be.
My Work Today
Through it all, one belief has continued to guide me: we are all born with God-given talents and a purpose, but over time, we can lose sight of that. We get busy, meet expectations, and follow paths that don’t always feel aligned.
The work, as I see it now, is about rediscovering that.
In recent years, I’ve stepped away from the day-to-day of K.Coaching to focus more intentionally on where I can have the greatest impact.
Today, through the Krista Moore brand, I work with a select group of women who feel that same pull toward something more. By combining decades of experience in sales, leadership, coaching, and personal development, I help women create businesses, partnerships, and careers that reflect both their strengths and their purpose.
Through speaking, coaching, workshops, and retreats, I work with leaders, professionals, and entrepreneurs who feel called toward something more meaningful—but want a clear path forward for how to build it.
Because when you are aligned with who you are and what matters most, success takes on a different meaning.
You’re not just achieving—you’re living your purpose.
And to me, that’s what it means to truly soar with passion + purpose.
